Any Song Will Do: Roles We'll Never Play

Cinco de Mayo brought forth the second installment of Any Song Will Do, A “Choose Your Own Adventure” Cabaret. This edition was titled “Roles We’ll Never Play” and benefitted Blood:Water Mission.

Even though we were fighting Beyonce’s Lemonade tour until the final days (it was cancelled about a week beforehand), and I had a surprise New York adventure the three days before the show (will share about that on a later post)…the show was full in many ways. I got to sing with the immensely talented Casey Hebbel and Tyler Osborne, with a band consisting of the indomitable Kelsi Fulton, Peter Ferguson, and Vinay Shroff. It doesn’t get MUCH better than that, folks! Eric Brown was there to capture photos of the evening, and we were able to give a chunk of funds to Blood:Water mission in their fight against AIDS in Africa. Upon reflection, though it was exhausting and a whirlwind, it was well worth the effort.
