Leslie Eiler Thompson

With a math teacher father and art teaching mother, it’s no surprise that Leslie Eiler Thompson’s work strikes a balance between art and calculation.

Leslie was raised in Northern Illinois among the Midwestern sentiments of a hard work ethic and living life without fuss. Having spent most of her childhood and adolescent years on a theatrical stage - studying character development and backstory – allowed her to develop a sense of curiosity for the folks she watched living life without fanfare.

Leslie completed her education in Nashville, Tennessee as a Commercial Music student at Belmont University. Post-graduation, she paid bills through employment in the music industry, continuing the trend of meeting interesting folks with the best stories.

Her years of storytelling through theater and vocal performance has led to a lifetime of sharing stories with purpose. For what are stories if they don’t change us?

In 2018, Leslie launched the Rogue Ones Podcast, which affords her the great opportunity to speak with extraordinary folks – some of them icons in their field – doing the most fascinating things for the purpose of our ongoing quest toward a life with a bend toward the remarkable.

Leslie makes her home in the English-Ivy covered hills just outside of Nashville. When she’s not working on passion project, she spends her time running a boutique music industry marketing studio for creators, artists, labels, and management. Nashville continues to be an inspiration for Leslie’s work and she delights in all the surprises it brings.
